Question connection problems with dial up

I saw this thread before, but now I can't find it again... there is something for cable users but not dial up people. Could someone help me find it, or just be patient enough to tell me what to do. I have downloaded the program but it will not connect. I tried to put a 0 in the port (or something like that) and it did not work. thanks lots.

    I have downloaded the program

What program have you downloaded? If you need help with a specific program, try to post in the section of the fourms dedicated to that program. Please provide more informtation. What program? I assume you have dial-up. What OS are you using(windows? Mac? Linux? etc...). More info needed.

    Talking

oops.... must have been really tired... mind in the clouds... downloaded shareaza 1.6.0.0 (the only one I saw by the way). I have a pc with window xp professional. I just cannot connect. I remember reading that some people downloaded the beta version of 1.7, but where is it? and is it a good idea? still, why isn't it working when Kazaas lite works? thanks..

Aw damn. Well i'm going to be honest with you. I'm not a gnutella fan and i've used Shareaza about 3 times. I do suggest you either post in the section of the fourms dedicated to Gnutella or even better. Go here.

You should be able to recieve plenty of assistance.
