    Red face Firwealls

Well, how about a section on the best firewall tweaks for our favourite P2P apps? Expecially for common stuff like XP firewall and ZoneAlarm....

This would be cool as most firewalls will allow one to connect to others, but may stop incoming connections from peers and therefore create pseudo-leeches around the network, making things generally suck all round...

    Just a thought.

Don't forget routers, they tend have tricky firewall to get around too. :gj

Since its inception almost 30 years ago, the internet has been transformed from a primitive device for sharing thoughts and ideas, into a massive network where people pay to connect and read advertisements they don't want, while calling each other "asshats".

    Hmmmm....

This may sound dumb, but how about an "basic" explanation on the differences between some of the decentralized networks? Maybe they're all the same and this is a lame question, but if there are any differences in the de-centralization of, say, Blubster vs. Gnutella. Or, Gnutella vs. WinMix 3.0.

I think Ryoko has a point. It may be a nice thing to do to write a guide to the diferent networks. Who knows, it could encourage buddying programmers to try their hand at a client... And isn't this what tis site's all about?

For people that don't know you are zeropain all you are doing is making yourself look like a retard. You are not really spamming or bothering anybody. They just laugh when they read your posts because you look real stupid.
