Alright, who's ready for Tron 2?! Yep, Flynn's back! I believe the trailer was captured at this year's Comic-Con.
I'm very hopeful for this one...

Did anyone play Tron 2.0? I thought the PC version was great, especially the part when you got to visit the "old" sector. :icon_thum
THe small display just pisses me off! I wish they would take the first tron and rip out all the old computer graphics/animation and CGI it up. How the fans must hate me!
Hard as ever and here to make you people believe...as long as there is one person to hold hope and dream...A GOD...will never die!
they are making a new one?!?
and yeah, tron 2.0 was pretty sweet for a shooter where you throw frisbies. defiantly inspired by NOLF.
I never played Tron 2.0 but it looks great. Some online Tron would be so cool. I wish I had an original Tron arcade machine. I put many quarters into that one.

Never tried multiplayer in 2.0, but the single player campaign was good. As for the coin-op version, I wasn't very good at it. But I did like to watch the older kids and adults kickin' ass. Definitely one of the most attractive cabs ever.
BOW DOWN TO THE TRON

I could rock it pretty well. Memorizing the Light Cycle is the key. The rest is just fast reflexes.
The black light use to look so cool in a dark arcade. I miss those arcade days. It really was magic in a bottle. Boom! Video game's everywhere. So new and thrilling when a new one came along. Every store had video games tucked in some corner. The convenience store close to where I lived had about 6 or 7 machines. Begging for quarters. Stealing them out of your moms purse.
boobies.
I want to see a better movie trailer.

Damn, I miss those days too. The blacklights and neon signs, the music and the sounds from dozens of the classics swarming through my mind. I remember people standing in long lines just to play the latest title. A five dollar bill from mom and I was one happy little gremlin... all the way down to my last token. A slush puppy and arcade balloon for the trip home finished the night off just right. After the arcade on Friday evenings, I'd get to hit the nearest Licorice Pizza (kick ass chain of record stores in LA).
Oh shit.
Flashback... straight up tits. :icon_thum
Hey, have you checked out the 3D Arcade frontend for MAME?

i remember seeing that machine at a chuck e cheese's. i only got one token to put it in, and i sucked. it was such a letdown. i probably was 7 at the time though.
Thats cool. I had never seen that before.
