Youre right but bone infection...... worrries me. It is good that I had to see a doctor because I never go and I have problems I didn't know about just because I tend to ignore my health. So It just may be the a good thing in the end. Ya never know

That is so weird Mels. I just cut the tip of my index finger off the other night with a very sharp knife. It took the about a third of my finger nail with it. It still hurts like a mother. The worst part was stopping the bleeding. The next day when the doc removed my bandage, it started flowing again. Thank fuck, today it's finally healing up a bit or they were going to cauterize it. So for the next few days I also have to worry about infection. Sure sucks for a guitar player. It's killing me not to play. I am confident it will heal though. It will just take time.

Mels, I wish you luck with your injury and recovery. I know how stressful and painful it is. Lots of nerve endings in your fingers.

Tonight I had the end of my finger SMASHED off at work. I looked down and my finger nail and the end of my finger were hanging on by a thin piece of meat. OH FUCK IT HURT!!! It still hurts in fact but I have a few pain pills in me. They gave me some 10mg Hydro's. I supposed to take 1 every 4 to 6 hours as needed. SCREW THAT! I took one and waited and waited. It still hurt like hell. Next dose I took three at once. It feels some better now but it still throbs.
