Songs or Artists that lift your spirits when you are down

Lots of artists and songs remind us of different times in our lives, Meat Loaf is my fravorate artist, his songs really do seem to lift me me up when I am feeling down. My all time fravorate song of his, is Rock and Roll Dreams, the lyrics seem very close to my heart.

Isn't it uncanny how songs can do that?

Which artist or song lifts you up?

Al music does that for me except gangster rap and some opera. Music feeds the soul and is our lifes blood.

    Run Kid Run.

they're an inspirational/christian Pop Punk band. their old CD was really an uplifting CD for me. The song "we've only just begun" always kicks me into shape. It's tough to deny feeling better after listening to it.

and there's a few guilty pleasure songs.

is that barry manilow btw? how many times do I have to see that picture on these forums before people get sick of it lol...

But yeah Run Kid Run. Give it a shot. it's pop punk. I have seen them compared to Jimmy Eat World but they're a lot more happy than Jimmy eat world.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rzok9I-VOfM <-- that's the music video for it. it sounds weird with the low quality especially the drums. but oh well still an awesome video. jogging with a band following me is my dream
