I have no idea. The last time I was into mods was when I installed a Xenium Spice chip and added a 120GB HD to my XBox four years ago. You might find this forum useful:

Hi. I tried to find a program that would copy playstation games. But it aint worth the time or hassle. They only sometimes work and that isnt very often.

You can't play burned playstation games without a modchip, period.
Since there is no modchip or firmware hack for the ps3, backups are impossible at the moment.
The only system I know of where you can just copy and burn a game and play it is the Dreamcast.
