So,someone asked for some Gnutella WebCache or GWebCache pages, and here they are. There are more than 30 tested(working) and untested(not sure if working) pages in the attached Gcache.txt file.FOR Shareaza(I use v.1.7b),download the file, run shareaza, open Discovery Services window by pressing F9 ,right click inside the window and select Add Service....In the next pop-up box, just copy and paste a address from the attached file.Click OK.You can add multiple pages from the file by following the same step, but add one page each time. The web addresses in the attached Gcache.txt file, headed Tested(working) servers are ok at this moment. But the ones headed Untested servers aren't tested yet.To test if a server is working or not,Right-click on any address in the Discovery Services window WHILE YOU ARE IN THE INTERNET,BEFORE YOU CONNECT TO GNUTELLA NETWORK,and click Query Now.If the server is not working, you will see 1 in the failure row in the window.Tf it fails 3 times, the default settings will deleat the server.Try to test all the pages,as this insures when you are connecting to hubs(ultrapeers),Shareaza would not have to test and find a Cache page is not working, and save the time.Be sure to ADD ONLY THE PAGES WHICH ARE NOT IN YOUR DISCOVERY SERVICE.Adding the same pages more than once would not help.I have included ALL OF MY PAGES,and most probably there are the pages that are also in your Discovery service.Avoid them. All of the addresses except the http://www.shareaza.com/cache/cache.aspx page are supported by all the other Gnutella clients. So,add them to your service. These pages assures that your Gnutell client gets all the Ultrapeers it may need, and may connect to all the other Gnutella clients.
P.S.:You may find more GWebCache pages by searching for a page named name 'gcache' on a internet address( like http://cfx.domainchen.de/gwebc/gcache.php - here the gcache.php is a GWebCache page.:fire Tell me if it helped you or not. :) :sw :fire
