    proxy question

Currently I'm using qBitTorrent (a libtorrent client for KDE) and I noticed I have the option to disable connecting to peers through the proxy. From a recent article on ZP I saw quite a few Anti-Piracy agencies just connect to the tracker and download its IP list for that torrent for sending out notices instead of actually connecting to peers. I currently use ToR for connecting to public trackers when at work or my home network so I'm curious if disabling this option will reveal my real IP address to the tracker.

Yes it would show your true IP address. TOR works great, but your online bank always has a problem with it.
