i screw around with photography. living in a town with basically nothing interesting, i am forced to combine lots of shots to make them interesting. maybe they are, maybe they aren't, but at least they are humongous (full size=30 feet long)
bring the pain!

Big panoramas - a set on Flickr
you may have to be a yahoo member to look at the full sized shots, but the full sized shots (29000x2400 pixels) are where it's at
Those shots are sweet! Especially the lighthouse (North Pier)!
Dude, you could be my new BBF!!
Not near the shite as yours, but we just got our
PowerShot S5 IS 8.0 MP 12X Zoom Digital Camera and I am excited about using it.
Moving up takes time, but I will get there. Now I know someone that can help me...erm, that is if you would.

you can make those with any camera, but manual settings make it a little easier (so that when you stitch them together the exposures are more similar, not 20 different sky-shades)
power shots are great cameras, pretty decent for almost any situation, with artsy fartsy manual settings and built in stabilizers
Yeah. It came with one of those manuals that I'm going to actually have to <*gulp*> read.

Someone please quote this so NotBob can view it.
Very nicely done. Keep up the good work. I would love to see them at higher resolution.
My main camera is Minolta 370 slr with full array of lenses and filters and flashes but I did just buy a Jazz Elite HD digital camcorder/ camera. It does a great job for what I got it for. Just used it at daughters preK graduation.

i deleted the ignore list long ago.
i had lots of minoltas. srt 102, srt201, x700, xgm, lots of lenses too. i sold them and went to canon ef mount. i like being able to swap out the same lenses for film and digital. for film i have a EOS 630 and a rebel and for digital i have a 20d.
this may work, and it may not http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3111/...2b4acfc9_o.jpg
this will though

if i could, i'd use clevr more, but it's too buggy to upload to
Nice work. Thanks for sharing.

Glad to here that I am no longer ignored.
The picture came up perfect. Looks real good. Thanks
Yeah I was waiting on some vaporware to come out for minoltas. It was a cmos digital film cartridge. But alas the company went bankrupt I think.
Here is link to the pdf manual for the vaporware SiliconFilm..... http://www.sitmark.com/Portfolio/Sil...lmOverview.pdf
I would love to convert to canon but Right now that is a huge investment I cant afford. I still love my 370.
I agree I like the clevr site also.

i got my 630 film body at goodwill, along with 2 lenses (one was the 70-210mm i used for 2 panos, and the 50mm i used for the night one) both were made in 1987, i got the trio for 126 dollars. i bought 2 new lenses, an 85mm and a 15mm, and a sigma zoom came with the rebel. the 20d was relatively cheap, as the 40d and 30d are more in demand (though their advantages are slim, 30d with a slightly bigger viewfinder and 40d with 2 more megapixels and some other stuff)
most of the sale of the minolta stuff went to the 20d and fisheye lens. i also got some goodwill flashes, filters, and some chinese flash triggers. i can do pretty much anything i want, and didn't blow too much money
Those were nice. I used to enjoy taking nighttime pictures in Miami with my Cannon EOS SLR but I eventually gave it away with all my lenses and filters. You've inspired me to go look for a digital SLR. I hear Sony is making impressive 12mp cameras.
