dumped ver 2.6(finally) worth getting new ver??

i finally got rid of ver 2.6 along with the trippy list..its was getting hard to get anything..so im thinking about the new ver of winmx. whats the latest opinion on the new ver..should i get it or wait for more impronements???thanks..a mindless wonder

I am using the newest version (3.31), and i have been for 2weeks now, i havent had a problem with it, and think it was a major improvement over the 2.x series

the major thing i noticed was multi-source downloading, this greatly improved my download speeds

the other thing i like, is it saves an incomplete download, so you dont have to wait till its done before shutting it down, you can resume it at any time in the future

I really cant think of a major feature i would like added, and there isnt much from what ive seen for improvements in the future, my vote would be go with 3.31, but I'm sure skorch (our resident "expert" for winmx, will have his own oppinions (along with a few pages of text and links) :P

Winmx 3.31 is a great improvement, at first I didnt think so but now that everyone has realized the old version doesnt work and are upgrading, it works much better. Yes your right about the multisourcing being better. Lately ive had great spead on winmx but I still think the queing needs work. Winmx is a traders network which is cool in some aspects but to truely acheive great speeds they are gonna have to take some controll over the queing. You just cant have good multisourcing when everyone is checking their que list seeing who they can bribe to get the file they want. On the other hand this kind of mentality brings fresh new files to the network because it usualy takes a rare file to make a swap. Everyone should check out 3.31. Its second only to fasttrack
