Why the hell am I going to waste 3 gallons flushing piss down the toilet if I am already in the shower? From a purely environmental point of view .... you have a duty to piss in the shower! (unless you are taking a bubble bath or something)..

I can't do it. I just think it's way too gross to do in the shower. I just can't bring myself to do it.

I saw this picture the other week and I started wondering how many people actually do that. Apparently enough. El Comandante raised a good enough point so I'm going to come out and say it. Yeah. I pee in the shower. I started it when I was like 7 or 8, and I thought it was funny as hell. Probably more funny than that; I was rolling. Anyway, I just never stopped. I've been doing it so long now that I don't even think about it ever. It's just part of the routine.

Unlike the poster that got quoted for that drawing, I don't think it's normal at all. But as long as you are sanitary about it, as I am, it's not really a big deal. Never once in the 16 or so years that I have been doing have I caught a whiff of urine from the shower. The only downside I've experienced from peeing in the shower is now my mind says body getting wet = Potty time! There have been a few times where I've been swimming and feel the urge to let go. I never have, but it pisses me off (no pun intended) that it's even an issue.

Sure, I pee in my shower, it gets washed down with a heck of a lot more water than a toilet flush, and urine is sterile after all.
But I would consider it rude to pee in someone else's or a public shower. Then again, I'm a road construction worker, and ordinarily there are no facilities available on job sites, so I pee pretty much anywhere, shielded by the open door of my truck anyway.
