    Awol torrents

Have bittorrent 6.0.3 and after work I found that every torrent but 2 (located in a different folder) were missing. The data collected so far was still there. Just the torrents were missing Any ideas to recover?

Do you mean that the torrents were no longer loaded in your client, or do you mean that the .torrent files were no longer in their default location, or do you mean something else entirely?

I can be a bit slow sometimes...

What I think happened is that the drive overheated and it errored by finishing each torrent
I've located data it 3 different folders DownLoads, Finished, and Finished/downloads. Download and Finished I created. The Finished/Downloads just appeared. Bittorrent stated that all torrents but 2 were missing These were in the Finished folder and were seeding still. once I located the torrents and returned them to the Downloads folder and ran a forced recheck they work but do not see any of the old data. ANy Help?

That sounds real wacky my man.... I am a utorrent slut, so my first suggestion would be to use utorrent, it sounds much easier to manage than the palava you have to go through.

Anyway it sounds like you got it working... If you want to look for the missing stuff, use the search function in explorer, and search the entire computer. Use an * before and after your search criteria so that it pulls up anything with those details. That way you willl find everywhere on your entire PC that has even fragments.

As to why and what happened I dunno, if your HD overheated it should just have rebooted the pc, not rearranged you whole HD.

You might wanna run the usual assortment of AV and antispy software to make sure you didn't download some malignant stuff in the torrents.

And you really wanna look at moving to utorrent. You cna even make the switch right now, by installing it, and loading your torrents into utorrent.

    Good luck....
