Ok so I got a gateway laptop here with Vista Home Premium (big mistake). Anywho, after uninstalling McAfee Internet Security WMP 11 refuses to start anymore. I tried to reinstall with the XP download from microsoft and it says I have a newer version and can't install and all that crap, I tried a few system restores which did not fix the problem either.
Now it's not my laptop so formatting and reinstalling windows is not entirely an option so I was wondering if anyone else had this problem or if anyone has any suggestions to fix this problem?
