    Ebooks for IT (mostly)

Anyone want to brush up on some skillz?

I METICULOUSLY renamed every folder and file!

I gutted the nfo files and stripped all the scene bullshit branding off of them.

Yeah its a lotta freakin work, but worth it. I still have about 20 folders to add at this point.

Im going to push this as a torrent. I will probably have to make a 2 DVD set of it.

sweet collection man...are you planning to release it on a public tracker? if you are, you may consider not putting them all in a zip archive...but what a collection!

where do you find the time to read all that?

I read in the background, all the time. It's dry stuff man . . like reading the old testiment, hard to stay awake after a few hours.

I will probably just make iso's of this, since there are so many files to contend with.

What I want to do is make a master html with the ebook names, and a link that will launch the nfo, the .mht from the actual product site description or the ebook itself.

Other than being terrified of technical jargon, I find that collection seductively intriguing.

Sooooo much time at the comp, sooooo little knowledge of anything I have yet to attempt/read about.

Cool collection. I'm a sucker for I.T. ebooks too. Most are very difficult to get through. 'Learning Perl' from O'Reilly press is a notable exception though.

May I suggest you open an account at publicftp.com and use that to share this impressive collection? Up it just once (either as a collection, in groups, or even individual files) and then share the link(s) as you like (to individuals via pm, email, IM, etc. if you want selectivity, or post the links on a forum if you just want it available to the masses).

I would love to get my sticky digits on some of these myself. :)

We don't really have time to read all that now, do we?

Just the directories I stole by leeching entire porn sites,
    just pics = 35.1 GB (37,778,608,128 bytes); 136,804 Files, 3.939 Folders.

    Videos are another story.

This is also meticulously renamed and no duplicates. I usually just send an entire hard drive somewhere to share this.

LOL probably blow my stuff out of the water.

It took weeks to use RenameMaster to rename all those pics.

2 and 1/2 hour drive, I'll be there Tuesday.

    *edit* - reason LIES

Ok, 1 1/2 hour. You should hit up the pizza place by Safeway in North Bend, not a bad pie.
