Pimp C’s Death Remains A Mystery

Seven weeks after the death of Texas rap pioneer Pimp C, his exact cause of death continues to elude the public.

Despite initial reports that autopsy results would be available 6-8 weeks following his death, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office is still awaiting toxicology results for rapper Pimp C (born Chad Butler).

A representative for the L.A. County Coroner’s office told SOHH it could take three to six months to determine a cause of death in the case; meaning it may be as late as June before family and fans may learn what happened to Pimp C.

Pimp C was found dead in his room at the Mondrian Hotel in Los Angeles on December 4th.

One half of the legendary Port Arthur, Texas duo UGK, along with Bun B, 33-year-old rapper Pimp C was discovered with no apparent injuries and no drug paraphernalia present, leading authorities to believe he died of natural causes. Because of the absence of any signs of trauma, last month the coroners office ruled out the possibility of foul play in the case.
