    hi lads

I'm trying to get an windows dedic box with unlim connection from here:
    http://hosting-ie.com/content/view/34/75/
    Dedic Raptor Pro Lin 581

so I'm bit new in all that and just need some advice if some one did use that dedic boxes and what could be the average speed?
and does they allow torrent at all

i was trying to order the one from keyweb but it looks they strictly suspend all related to torrent.

well i dont have any personal experinces with hosting ie, but apparently you shouldnt be shocked if it takes like 2 or 3 weeks for them to set it up.

the speeds will varry on how much ram you get, obviously 1GB ram would be alot better than 512mb, and 2GBs would be better than 1GB.

i cant tell you the average speed of hosting ie

    :) well today I've got it !

Basically was waiting for 2 working days.
Speed average is about 30-40 mbit, some times goes over 70 but mostly between 30-40 mbit, I think for that price that is not bad at all.

I wouldn't suggest it as they get raided by cops. And they shut you down if you go over 3tbs.

    Hosting-ie dishonest and misleading

    You should not use them

they are very dishonest and try to make you pay service fee for support.

Took a month to get the server I ordered and then it was setup wrong.

Asked for a reboot and was told unless I was on managed support only reboots to fix hardware issues are free. Asked for a ballpark price and they avoided answering this.

Never seen a reboot fix a hardware issue, every time I asked a question I was either lied to or was reminded that if i paid monthly management fee i wouldn't have to pay. Like ay to have the server setup correctly.

Very dishonest and shady company, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Total waste of 300 euro. Setup free of 95 euro and takes a month to get the server. Thats insane.

Glad you have had good luck

    hope it stays that way

Asked for nothing free that should cost be like a reboot.

seems that after doing a little google search I am not alone.

If this is the best you can find you haven't looked much.

Plain fact is they are dishonest and will extort money from you if you have any problem, even if they caused it.

well it is true if it is their fault then you shouldnt have to pay, some people have good experience with them and some dont, just the role of the dice.
