REQ: NYPD Blue Season 5 onwards

Hi There,

As a fan of NYPD Blue, I think that it sucks big time that we don't have access
to season 5 onwards of this great show....

However, with your help this could change...

From Wednesday, January 16, 3:00AM ET the US TV Channel TNT will start screening
Season 5 onwards...this is the first time since it was originally on TV that it
will be screened.

I am trying to get the message out so that some fine person can Cap and upload
the episodes for the world to see.

Plans for Season 5 to be released to DVD were scrapped earlier in 2007 so this
represents a glimmer of hope for all the fans.

I hope you can help the cause or at least spread the word to someone who can.

I thought they had season 5 on DVD so I ran a search and you were right, no season 5. Isn't court tv airing Nypd Blue?

There is also season 12 on the net, but it's not DVD.

I think court TV is now called TRU TV or something like that. I know that USA Network does run some episode once in a while or i'm I think of Law and Order.

Hopefully this thread could be the start of something! Is anyone out there capping the episodes as Ditchnz suggested? If so I'm happy to put major bandwidth towards getting them seeded.

I loved this series and have bought all the DVDs as they have been released. I have also downloaded most of season 11 and all of season 12 via bit torrent. And I have a bunch of VHS tapes with some of the missing episodes I could cap, but the quality would be pretty poor so I was holding out to cap and seed seasons 5-10 when they screened on cable here in Australia, but after season 4 they went back to the first season. Argh!

urgent news for nypd blue season 5 -12 fans!

sky's DMax channel is showing the series in it's entirety (as far as i have been informed by a reliable source), it started on the 8th this month, and is on weeknights 11pm -12pm and is repeated at 2am -3am.

hi guys

if DMAX does intend to show the whole 12 seasons mon - fri as i have been lead to believe, then it will be approx 12th may before season 5 starts, so it's a long way off yet.

i will be recording the episodes on a dvd recorder and on video tape if this DMAX info is indeed true, and yes of course i will share.:icon_thum

:icon_scra i watched an episode last night and it seemed like the american edited version of the show, so the quality straight away isnt as good as it could be, but as fans of the show we all know it's better than nothing!

so if everything goes according to plan, you guys might have to help me through the procedure as i have never done this 'capping' thing before. but we can get to that nearer the time.

Fellow NYPD Blue fan here. I've been tracking on DMAX, but it goes back to the pilot on Wednesday and starts all over again. But I'm going to keep tracking. I've got Seasons 7 and 8 on video, and I've also got Seasons 9 to 12 on DVD, which I'm happy to share, but I don't know how to upload. Any help gratefully received.

Hi,

You can upload your files to share on the internet via Rapidshare. But you have to pay for it. Each time you upload a file, Rapidshare genrates a link for the file, which you can then give to anyone. Alternatively you could create a torrent of the episode and upload that, and post it on this forum. I'm not sure about torrents, because I use Rapidshare. Maybe someone knows more?

However, if its easier for you, once you have season 5 onwards, if you are able to burn them onto a CD, you could post them to me. Then I'll upload them to Rapidshare. I'd pay you what you thought was reasonable, via PayPal (if you have an account) or another way.

can't believe this is yet another british channel only showing the 1st 2 seasons again!
it's very frustrating :icon_scra being an nypd blue fan.

my computer has started playing up recently, something to do with a trojen virus it caught from being on line...

anyway, i'd be so grateful if you'd share the series 7 - 12 you have with me, this is the closest i've got to seeing this stuff since my grandfather died (who i used to watch the show with)...

would it be too much of an imposition to ask you to copy them onto dvd for me, as the other forum member suggested?

i'd be most obiged.

if you have any films, tv series, or music you require and i have it, you are most welcome to it.

Hi, I`m a fan of NYPD and working on an art project whihc is a video archive. To complete my work I need the episode "The Man with Two Right Shoes," which is episode 3 in season 7. Can anyone help me with that?
