is this a p2p client?????
I can see that youre working on the 7th post in ten minutes, when you spam to get your post count up you'll get banned!
krell, do you know about waste?
Yes, and I know about using the SEARCH feature. The fact that you dont see a sticky about this client should tell you something.
Waste is a clien with 1056 bit encryption. You are able to generate a highly unique key and send it to someone else with a Waste client. Once 2 or more people have exchanged Waste keys and are added to the "approved" list, and the external IP addresses are known to each, the Waste clients will connect and folders can be shared, browsed.
IF ONE had a mf shell account in another country they could log on to with remote desktop etc, they could then connect both boxes with Waste and move the data back and forth in 1056 bit encryption.
This is all I have to say about it.
.
do you mean an SSH account? I can get one of those
for about 2 bucks per month overseas I think...
with regards to the sticky, why is that important?
I thought stickys were for hot topics or something like that???
and if there are waste threads, why arent theyin this waste
section?? shouldnt a mod move them over here???
I mean, that would make sense for me to post about
WASTE within the waste area, right?
and before you blast me, calm down man. I could care less
about these points or whatever. and it looks like I have
about 1 million negative points anyways... LOL!
thanks mate
Waste is a funny fish. It is pretty ironclad security wise, as long as you implicitly trust every single member of your group. However, if your group does get infiltrated, you are pretty ironclad busted as well.
It is also a bit more knowledge intensive than the average p2p user is ready for.
It is also pretty damn slow, as its only capable of single user to user transfers.
In short, waste is pretty much a waste of time.
Nobody can start over and make a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.
