Smile Is there anyone you would be willing to risk your life for?

This Is A Very Powerful Question In A Lot Of Ways But A SImple One As Well. If You Love Some One Enough Would You Be Willing To Risk Your Own Life For Them. This was Posed To Me By A Pastor Of Mine. I Alreaady Knew My Answer. Its Something To Think About And I Think An Important One. The reason I ask This Question I That If Some One your Loved Would Die If You Didn't Risk Your Life For Them. Or If It Would Cost You Your Own Life. In These Day's Helping A Loved One By Giving Then A Kidney For Example. Or Doing Something Else. Its A Question TO Think About And Talk About....Blessings To All Of You. Tim

I nearly risked my life by making a very big mistake with someone a week ago.

And I risk it everyday just by continuing to talk with her.

Beyond that, there is probably 2 other people tops that I'd do the same for.

I once offered a kidney to a very close friend. It is relatively safe to do so, but it could be life threatening. He was lucky to find one before I had to go get tested for compatability. He is still doing great a year after the surgery.

I think my sisters would qualify.

I think a more interesting question would be, would you risk your life to save the life of a total stranger?

This possibility intrigues me as well. I would like to think so, but most likely it would be a small child (being a mother, I think it would be natural <*shrug*>)...). Really, I don't know. It seems more a matter of -
    "What is the situation, here?",
    "What are the possible outcomes?"
Having to make a decision at the drop of the hat.

Same here, I think it would come down to risk assessment and end rewards. I would be less likely to try and rescue an 80 year old person from a burning building then I would a child. Their both tragedies but the child has much more to live for and if I died it would end up being a much greater sacrifice. Kind of the same thing if I knew someone was a thug and someone was about to kick his ass I would be less likely to intervene then if it was some random person being mugged.
