    Any good forum to talk about virus removel/prevention!

    Hi i just got a virus in like 3 years!!! my fifth viruse that is not goning away.. i have no idea how i got it.. may be my couson did something when i was at school! but now that i got it.. i am looking to upgrade my viruse knowlege .. i am currently using Mcafee and have been using ever since i got a computer! so can some1 recomend a nice place to learn about virus removal/prevention/general help/some guides because google seems to give too many places and some even look suspihus!

    i am using maxthon browser for past year and before that i used IE... i am on xp home with all updates!

    if i sound too noobish then please help me!

    After you install and update Spybot, be sure to Click on IMMUNIZE the system

    Use the Advanced Mode --> Tools > Host file


    Then be sure that the Spyware Blaster is updated and all protection enabled.



    Then run Hijack This. Dont make changes with it yet.

    there are plenty of FREE web based scans out there that always have the most updated virus definations. Run them, and say YES when asked to disinfect.

    dude use protection..

    just get a dam condom and solve the problems ..

    well for me Panda 2008 is doing a great job , the
    key point is to install a good security program instantly
    after format to stop any viruses before they even start
    coming.

    so should i try some other antivirus? I can't spend over 5 bucks on it.

    Avast! is free. I'm sure there are plenty more too. If one were so inclined, they could download NOD32/Symantec from a torrent site...

    i second avast! antivirus and spybot search and destroy
