Are my files really there?????
This may sound like a stupid question, but this is really bothering me. Maybe some of yall can help me out. How do I check to make sure that all of my "share" files have been up loaded to the peer server? Eveytime I search for something of my own, I don't get any results. They must be there or I wouldn't be getting upload requests. Is the program set-up not to display your own listings? If It is how can I tell if all of my files are being offered. The reason that I asked is that I recommended a song from my files to an online friend and they couldn't find it anywhere.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks yall!

I say what I want
the only place your files are is on your computer--the filesharing program sends your list or checks your list whenever someone asks for a file
most programs ignore results from your own computer
so look in your shared folder-- if they are there, then they are being shared
