    Torrent client on linux server?

    Hi.
I have about 100gb a month I can spare and was wondering if there is a way to setup a bittorrent client on my remote server.

That way I could use the 100mb pipe to download the torrents and directly download from my server or fxp to friends.

It is a VPS based host, and I have shell access - although I am not very good at using shell.
    The server is redhat.

If you are simply looking for a client, I'd check out Azureus

this sounds like a job for super8, err, enter8!!
thats your man for these things (actually i have a few questions for him myself if i ever get 'round to sending that PM).

Edit: I have foolishly assumed that enter8 is a man, which has been pointed out to me in the book, "enter8 for dummies" under the Foolish Assumptions section. s/he could just as easily be a woman, after carefully reviewing the evidence or lack of thereof.

should such be the case, the above statement should read "thats your woman...", not to be taken literally, unless enter8 indeed happens to be your woman.

as such, nothing should be held against me and i am not liable for any damages caused to anyone arising out of my statements. i am not a sexist, though i like the combination of the first three letters.

before i am charged with PUI (posting under influence), please note that i have helped the thread by pointing you to the right person for help.
