problem with NOD32

hello i have a problem with NOD32 with the file ekrn.exe.
i'm using my PC and all normal suddenly my pc is get slowly.
i open my task manager and see the process "ekrn.exe" using 60% cpu.
i close this file and all back to normal.. after couple hour`s i get this problem again.
someone know this problem, someone can help..

ekrn.exe is a normal process for nod32. I have read that it can hog resources though.
