    Waffles having problems?

I haven't seen any mention of this anywhere, but is Waffles up yet? I got invited the other day and went to sign up.... went fine... then I went to login and I got a 404 error. Tried going to the homepage, but it's saying that the site will be up shortly. Went back to the invite link and followed it and got to where I could log on again and actually got to play around on the site for a few seconds and then it was back to the 404 errors. Now that's all I got except for when I get the page saying they'll be up soon.

The reason I ask is because from reading on here is sounds like everyone else is getting on fine and I don't want to lose my account for being inactive.

So, is it just typing Waffles.fm, or do I need to go to a special link? Any ideas on why I'd be getting the 404s?

    Thanks.

The proxy thing worked. Any ideas on why I would have to use a proxy? I checked Peer Guardian and it's off, I know I had a problem with them blocking sites for awhile.

It's like they have two different homepages. Without proxy I get something saying the site is down but they have it back up tomorrow. With proxy it goes to the usual sign in / sign up screen.

I wouldn't go changing any titles just yet... at least the lad is being helpful too, right? He's had his rep-spanking. :drunken_s

And not to be disrespectful to you, but he is still invite whoring/begging and not helping for the sake of helping, if you know what I mean.

Additionally, I was going to answer your post (not because I want invites to the site. Don't have that need.), but saw you were already being "helped."

    Good luck! :icon_salu

getting a 404 error when there are lots of users on the site... you might have been banned or your isp is blocking it.

Well, as a weird addition to this story I decided to try it again today and it let me on without using a proxy. I surfed around for awhile and was enjoying myself but after about 15 minutes... bam!! 404 error. Then I hit home and I got the old homepage again saying the site would be up tomorrow. I wouldn't mind just going through a proxy, but it seems when I do that the torrents that I try to snatch won't let me connect. But today, when it was working without a proxy, I snatch 2 torrents and added a seed to another with no problems.

So if my IP was blocking them or if they were blocking my ip range, then there would have been no way I could have had these random connects, right?
