Did you recheck your Nero's settings on how to handle video(s)?

Had the same problem a while back. The last half hour or so of the movie was missing. Other movies since then have come out fine though. The problem movie was an .avi too.

Do you have DVDShrink? If you still want good bit rate, change to DVD9 instead of DVD5 before encoding. Then use DVDShrink to shrink to fit DVD5 disk, don't use Nero burn DVD disk directly!

Otherwise, use other program like ConverXtoDVD.

Don't use nero for that, use TMPGENC. That's all. If you want to change frame rate use something else, Canapus. Forums to help are : videohelp and doom9. Here it's mainly I dunno, invites to private sites except not really.

"Otherwise, use other program like ConverXtoDVD." < Don't use this. It's results are terrible.

There is an error in the .avi file. I have found several files like that, one was a copy of the original "Blade Runner," not the directiors edition. I transcoded the file to .mpg, and then burned it using Nero.
