Anyone listened to them, they sound amazing in their new album. An Ocean Between Us, it is very thrashy and sounds a lot like All That Remains. If you haven't heard these bands, and like to listen to hardcore / metal you need to listen to these bands!

I thought you were talking about the Faulkner book... I was excited that the threads shifted to the more literatureish topics, but no. Doublechecking that I had the title right... I see that this band is Christian Metalcore; how odd...
"There's a passage I got memorized. Ezekiel 25:17... I been sayin' that shit for years. And if you ever heard it, it meant your ass. I never really questioned what it meant. I thought it was just a cold-blooded thing to say to a motherfucker before you popped a cap in his ass. But I saw some shit this mornin' made me think twice… The truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm tryin', Ringo. I'm tryin' real hard to be a shepherd."
Both bands are on tour together right now, I am going to see them at the end of November...
@wingnut: Yes, As I Lay Dying is Christan influenced, but regardless of that, they are still amazing. If you base your opinion of a band simply on their religion/beliefs you are pretty shallow, not saying that you are doing this. Your post just implies that.

Hey... I just said that Christian Metalcore is an odd idea. I am cool with musicians that can rock with their cocks out for JC. As if I care about anybody's religion as a performer... (although Beck being a Scientologist does make it difficult to enjoy his music as much as before...).
So, would Chrisian Metalcore have lyrics like, "Satan! You Mother Fucker! Watch-out because Jesus is going to come back and bring an army of angelic warriors to rend your flesh and bring us to the fuckin' promised land!" Kinda like Bizarro Metal; flipping Satanism upside-down?
I must say my interest is piqued...

Metalcore and Nu Metal is dead. All Metalcore and Nu Metal bands are the same, and their fanbase is populated mainly by whiny 13 year olds who act all pissed off and try to be "cool". In my opinion, these two metal sub genres are a smudge on Metals's name. These bands all sound the same. But thats just my opinion, and people are welcome to their own.
The only reason I clicked on this link was because I thought it was Faulkner related. But Christian Metalcore? To be honest, I guess Jesus with his long hair and beard would be an excellent thrash metal guitarist. Being he's perfect it'd be nice to see a show that despite all that wine still performed perfectly.
Actually, he DJ's on Lucy: The Daughter of the Devil

Sorry if my post made you get on the defensive. It was more of a reply to what you said and the way it was worded made it sound like you judged music on the musicians beliefs.
Not yet, you might want to copyright that...
As I know where you are coming from, I don't like the 'main stream' metalcore music, if there is main stream metalcore. I tend to go to the bands that sing and growl in the song, where they actually have talent and can write good lyrics, a few of my friends have me listen to music, but it all sucks ass...so far, AILD and ATR are the only bands that do what I like, Protest the Hero is good also.
