can any1 help with my bittorrent prob please ?

Ive only had the programe 4 a week but the torrants i find always start off nice and fast 2 begin with then after they get 2 about 20% come 2 a grinding hult almost with download speeds of nothing 2 a max speed of 0.1kb/s ?. I leave them 2 it over night with no improvement the next day thoe the uploads remain about 26kb/s all the time which is the max set upload rate and the peers are still high all the time ?. Ive tried 2 find other torrents from diff locations 2 see if that would help but its always the same,im about 2 leave it on over night again but ifs not downloading hardly anything its going 2 take longer than a p2p programe even shaz is faster in the long run. Can any1 help or know why the download rate's start off so fast the secound i start a new torrent and then trail off 2 a snails pace ? :icon_salu

What program are you using?

What speed have you set in the program preferences?

im using bittorrent thats the name of the programe or bt 4 short ive done a speed test my upload speed is 244kbs my dowload speed is 813kbs whan the download starts on bt i get speeds of 116kB/s thoe which is fine 4 me takes a day or to max maybe less my uploads r about 26kB/s all the time ? dont think u can change the speed on bt the ports are all good tested the on there site,maybe i should try utorrent ?

That would be a good idea as utorrent uses less resources.

You might try hacking your half-open ports with EvID4226Patch223d-en.zip..

When you install, your AV may pop up saying it's a virus.
This is normal as I believe they author of it uses the same type of coding used for keygens.

I installed it about 6 months ago and my speed increased considerably.
No virus.

ive used this software 2day and set the speeds based on my speed test results etc set up more connections everything started fine but my downloads were fast but not as fast as they used 2 be but if the kept going instead of stoping 20% of the way through that was fine by me, its been downloading steady all day but its just dropped and almost stopped the peers are high still the same but its lost its steam ive fully cofig it based on loads of online guides ?
