Yeah, while Demonoid is back up MovieX might still be offering invites. Worth a try... though, in retrospect, I'm not sure if I was ever hassled about registration there.

TL is really good for movies and has fast speeds as well. Although you need an invite.

TL isn't good for older movies. TL is a 0-day tracker and the only older movies you find there are either from the IMDb top 250 (they have some) or groups like AXIAL or pfa. Much of the same can be said about other 0-day trackers, that have some packs sites like SCC, RevTT etc. You will find some stuff there but not much.

What you should be looking for is sites that allow requests and/or useruploads.

PISexy (allows useruploads. No invites or open signups until further notice) many DVDs
x264 (invite needed) mostly x264 or XviD
    Goem (invite needed) Mostly XviD
SITR (invite needed) A mix of everything
Karagarga (invite needed) Old/non mainstream and/or foreign movies/documentaries. I'm not sure now, but there used to be an option to apply for membership in their forums.

Danishbits should be open signups right now. I have found lots of extremely hard to find stuff there together with Nordic content, but if not nordic, the site is probably not for you.

There are lots of other foreign trackers, but I am not a member, so I have no idea. Maybe someone else can tell more about them.

When looking for older movies you don't have to worry that much about antipiracy agency's coming for you, so semipublic or public sites are an option. Speed may suffer, but as long as you get them eventually right :)

Demonoid (opens signups once a month + most members have invite codes)
    thepiratebay (public)

or just use google: "name of movie"+torrent
Google is a bit hit or miss, but try it a few times and you will soon learn to see what is legit or not.

Another one might be Zamunda. From what I hear it is very big, but as I am not a member nor want to be, I have no idea really if it's good or not.

And then off course those really hard to get into places like FTN, ScT, FSC are very good for packs of older movies. Only way you get in there is if you have good friends that are members.

Danishbits is in a different language. I have not a clue how to read a different language. I like speaking English. What came to the conclusion I know how to read different languages? I am part Italian but i don't know how to read, write or speak Italian. It's like speaking on a different level then me. If anyone has sites for hard to find and everything on older movies please post the sites in English. Thank you.

i would work on trying to get tti.nu and swedvdr.org you need invites for both but they are two of the best movie tracker sites. karagarga.net kicks but for old stuff.

    Cinematik

They have a huge collections of all-time movies.

Itīs a private tracker but always is open for sign up.

    http://cinematik.net/signup.php

    Almost 5.000 .torrents. Only movies.

For cinemaniacs, the best so far, in my opinion.

Demonoid is pretty good and has alot of old movies. Would have also recommened tl but invites disabled. Other invite only tracker i would recommend is thedvdclub.
