I've never tried MP3 sunglasses. Don't think I ever will. I don't mind having headphones and carting around an MP3 player. If you walk inside a store or somewhere not very well lit you will have to take them off, unless you are one of those totally cool people that never removes their sunglasses. Guess these could be nice for jogging or boating or skiing. Maybe there are some good uses for these. To me, they are impractical.

I don't think its a great idea either. Only for recreation as zankster said. Trying to be cool with it just seems like a geeky thing, and the glasses themselves look really odd. Then again even the oakley ones looked odd.

I'm not sure if every pair works the same, but I know that some will still play music just fine when they're on the top of your head, because the ear resty things are still on your ears. Not a great explanation, but hopefully you know what I mean.

my buddy had the oakley (i'm pretty sure thats how you spell it) MP3 sunglasses and he said they were terrible, so ever since hearing that i'm kinda killed on the whole idea.
