    Post ISOHunt Begins Blocking US Visitors

    Follows TorrentSpy's lead and chooses user privacy over court-ordered MPAA data collection.

    BitTorrent users in the US have just lost another popular public BitTorrent tracker site with ISOHunt's recent announcement that it has decided to begin blocking access by US visitors effective immediately.


    Jacqueline Chooljian, a federal judge for the Central District of California in Los Angeles, ruled back in May that TorrentSpy had to begin tracking users' activity on the site despite that fact that there was no existing mechanism to do so and that the action in itself would violate it

    It's been ages since I've downloaded anything via isohunt, but this still sucks.

    Nobody can start over and make a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.
