    Post best web browser?

OK. I know there was a thread created earlier on this topic but I wanted to make a new, revised one, so sound off on what you feel is the best browser. Explain why you chose the way that you did and just give your general thoughts and opinions. NO flaming please.

BTW, my choice goes w/ Avant. During the time, I've used it, it appears to be very stable. I love the mouse gestures and multiple pages as well. It does a good job of blocking pop ups and cleaning out your history as well as web cache and cookies. I've also tried the other ones on the poll at one time or another. Oh and if your fav. browser isn't shown on the poll, please reply and specify what your fav. is. I would have made more options but the max is 5.

My choice goes to MSIE 6, as most web sites are built for it in mind. It also has the best choice with the most modifications, although Opera does come in a close second with me because of fast page loads, although since Windows XP likes IE, I do too. So there.
My current setup stats (like anyone cares...):

    ASUS A8N32-SLI Motherboard
    AMD 4400+ Dual-Core CPU
    Windows Vista (Ultimate 32bit)
2 GB (2x1GB) Corsair XMS RAM
2x250 GB (in RAID 0) HDDs
EVGA GeForce 7950 GTX 512 MB
    Creative X-FI Fatal1ty XtremeGamer

    Also sporting a black MacBook
    Revision/Release 1
    Upgraded to 2GB RAM.

I use Internet Explorer. I've used Netscape, Opera and Mozilla. Netscape is good. Opera is ok but for some reason i've had my share of surfing problems. For instance, when I visit the ZP forums it will load 3 images, refresh the page, load a couple more images, refresh and then keep that pattern up until all images are loaded. It just makes for slow browsing when I use it. Don't know why. Mozilla doesn't support the amount of pages IE does, but its.....ok.

My vote goes to Internet Explorer.

    have you ever tried NetCaptor?

It like that plus it has ad killer, pop up killer, aliases, captor groups and some more stuff built in.

I agree. Although My IE 2 may be better than Avant IF configured correctly. I like em both plus they're both free!!
