Got a song/lyrics you can't get out of your head?

You know how you can go days at a time, sometimes even weeks, and have a song stuck in your head?
Sometimes it's a song you don't even like (like the Musak they play on the job or at a restaurant)??

Well I have been working on something for school using an animation app, and making a lot of signs.
I have always loved the cover that Tesla did of the , Five Man Electrical Band's song of the same name.
Being that I am working on them every day, the song has been stuck in my head for wll over a week...
    I don't mind.

A line or two (that hold truth for me) ~

"And the sign said long haired freaky people need not apply
So I tucked my hair up under my hat and I went in to ask him why
He said you look like a fine upstanding young man, I think you'll do
So I took off my hat I said imagine that, huh, me working for you?
    ooooohhh...

    Sign, Sign, everywhere a sign.;
    <insert
the Five Man Acoustical Jam release version here
    >
    F*cking up the scenery breaking my mind;
Do this, don't do that, can't you read the sign?

    Anyone else have this happen?

Feel free to post anything musical.

Can we use this thread to place songs into people's heads?

    I'll start with “MmmBop.”

No action may be brought under this title alleging infringement of copyright based on the noncommercial use by a consumer for making digital musical or analog musical recordings.

It's a bit of a bug when the riff happens to be gender specific, and not the right gender.

Like, there's one I heard on one of those Idol shows. It goes.

I learned the truth at 17
that life was made for beauty queens...

So, I'm walking around the house with that one in my brain, making myself a peanut butter sandwich singing loudly, "For ugly girls like me, at 17".

It earns me some strange looks.

Those Idol shows are bad for "ear worms".

If I think about songs that got stuck in my head, one might come back to me and I might end up being tormented again. Nope, no comment.

I agree, but since it's already in my head here goes.

Right now I have that god awful 311 song "come original". Quite possibly the worst song ever made simply for the "I can't get this fucking song out of my head" factor.

Edit: Now since I mentioned it it'll get stuck in your head too. Sometimes I'm evil that way.

That's a Janis Ian song. If you look her up you'll find an outspoken proponent for p2p.

That first song is "Hold the Line" by Toto.

    Yes, good song.

Janis Ian is one of my favorite lesbians, and you know me "I like lesbians" so that's saying something.

Anyways, good to see you T.

Who are you to wave your finger?
You must have been outta your head
Eye hole deep in muddy waters
    You practically raised the dead
