Yes, it makes the chances of getting breast cancer negligible
No, women who don't have breast cancer presently should not remove their breasts
I got thinking about this today after hearing about a female doctor considering removing her healthy breasts. She suffers from a genetic predisposition towards getting breast cancer. She's debating removing her breasts as a pre-emptive measure.
In her case she stands a 90% chance of getting breast cancer eventually. With the surgery, the chances drop to 1-2%. You might think that is drastic considering that she still has some chance of getting breast cancer, but consider that 1 in 8 women get breast cancer in their lives.
Suddenly, doesn't it make more sense than keeping their breasts?
Absoultely. She should empty the barrels.
And fill them with clear, healthy silicone.

I'm actually asking if it would be a good idea for all women to remove their breasts, perhaps around age 40 before the odds of getting it skyrocket.
I wouldn't really care if they all did.
Specially those old chicks.:hi
Do you consider removing your own? Or do you simply mean women who are genetically pre-dispositioned [as opposed to the 12.5 percent who will get it anyway]?Yes. It does make more sense...

Why keep the breasts and risk a 1 in 8 chance of getting cancer? 1 in 8?
Screw pride and public perception. Your boobs don't define your sexuality do they? A testicle is essential to reproduction, a breast? Nope.
Carefully examine this picture before answering that question!!!How important are boobs on a woman?

I'm hard as a rock now.
Those are quite nice, but she'd still be beautiful without them.
And trannies often have breasts.
I assumed this would be a large vs. small boob debate, but this mirrors a story I read in the Times over the weekend, so given that... I think women who are genetically predisposed to have a high risk of breast cancer (mutated BRCA1 gene), I think should consider it and I would support her decision 100%. As for "all women", I don't necessarily think it would be right for all women.
As for those who would perform the surgery, I'd highly prefer she opted for the surgery that keeps the nipple (for aesthetic reasons), and would also somewhat prefer at least small implants.

That's it for now. This list will be updated whenever I feel like it.
It all sounds pretty rational right now, but I worry if it became any kind of cause the lefty, cigarette-nazi, global warming hysterical types would pick it up, tell us all women want it, and mobilize to legislate mandatory mastectomies on all women over 30.
And OK, yeah, I'm kind of joking...at the same time though...not really.
I am definitely a boob man. I don't care if they are big, just well formed. I think a pair that is very small but well formed is just as good if not better than large ones. If a woman had her breasts removed I would certainly miss them BUT there is a whole lot more to love in a woman than just her breasts. Call me weird but physically speaking, a woman's eyes are what pull me in the most. A woman who was attractive with her breasts will still be attractive without her breasts! If a woman has a high pre-disposition to breast cancer I would strongly urge the woman to have her breasts removed. I definitely do not think all women should have their breasts removed, only those at high risk. I would also suggest having them replaced with small implants if they can afford it and do not even think about removing the nipples.
