I have an mp3 of an interview downloaded, and they sound like chipmunks! *lol* Is there a program I could use to adjust the speed to sound a bit more normal? I've tried searching for the same interview to see if it's better quality, but no luck so far. Any suggestions?
For changing the speed of an MP3 file, I'd recommend getting a preview (HA!) version of CoolEdit2000 or SoundForge XP. To get a trial version of CoolEdit2000, go here and click the "Download" link on the right. For a trial version of SoundForge, go here and click "Demo Version" (on the right side). These both have tools to slow down or speed up files, as well as a ton of other features.
I'll make this easier for you if you have this. If you have Winamp, then this Pacemaker plugin will change the speed, tempo, or pitch with ease.

Thanks! I checked them all out and they were helpful. I wasn't expecting to fix it up exactly as it should be, but it's much easier to listen to now. =o)
