You thought DD was a blow? While the DS MK was great for its console, DD is one of the best, if not the best, Mario racer for the GC.

i HATED DD. i cant really tell you why. i liked the idea of dual characters with unique items, but i just didnt have fun playing it. i think it might have to do with the AI being flat-out mean. there have been plenty of times where i would get hit by something, and then again, and AGAIN! it just isnt fun if you dont feel you have a chance of winning. after playing the DS, and then trying out DD again, i realized that something also felt weird with the controls, like i moved too much or too little when turning/sliding.

heh, this tread is making me want to go back and play it so that i can figure out what exactly i hate about the game, or if i might start liking it like i should have in the first place. im trying to beat metriod 2 right now. bought 3, and i cant wait to play that.

mariokart was always an awesome game, but now its going to be one of the best. The DS version was awesome with online play, I can't wait for the wii version.
