    Angry Installation problem

    Hi,
I have downloaded a pc game torrent, ************. I ran the file "setup.exe" and a message pops up : " Unable to open file:" C:/ (file path)" because it is allready opened with write permission by another user.
    What does that mean?
    Thanx in advance

    Please don't mention file names.

Did you check for viruses? I've never seen this kind problem on a setup.exe before, seems strange.

It's a bit of a longshot, but are you on a big network? I've never seen this on the PC side, but when I was in a graphic design studio we use to have pirated Mac software that would seek out other instances of the program and shut down if it found them.

i have the same iso file downloaded from isohunt, so no virus or anything and it works fine.

not exactly sure why its should say c:/......

if you mount the iso, it shouldn't be in the c directory. 1. are you mounting the image. 2. how are you mounting the image?

It's not just a bad download? I bet that if you delete alle the downloaded files and try it again. It will work.
