I'm on the fence about this one. I'm not a big fantasy movie fan. I guess thats what this would be categorized as. I have to admit though, that trailer makes it look pretty damn good.
It looks wicked.
BTW: Beowulf is the story most modern fantasy is based off of. Tolkien had an English degree w/ a specialization in Beowulf. It's all over LOTR, The Warcraft Universe, Warhammer... you name it.
Look's like Angelina is playing Grendel's mother, one of the children of Kane....
The style looks badass... kinda like 300. I'm gonna risk it, and put this as a must-see.

I watch the trailer again and watched the one off http://www.apple.com/trailers/paramount/beowulf/ (check out the HD one). It does look pretty good. It seems like a good theater movie too not a rental.
The story of Beowulf is awesome. Whether the movie sucks or not is irrelevant. Angelina Jolie nude! That's all the plot I need.

I saw the appletrailer a day or two ago. This looks pretty damn good.

Could careless about Angelina, but the Story of Beowolf is excellent and both trailers look great. This is a must see.

I was really excited about this film until I saw the first trailer and discovered that the whole thing is done using the "performance capture" technique used on Polar Express. Am I the only one that dislikes the way this looks? I'd much rather see a real, live action Beowulf.
I am excited about this one it looks really good especially the 2nd trailer that was just released. This one to me is like the best one, it has a ton of new clips. For the people who like the first trailer you will love this new one and for the people who were on the fence this one might just change your mind.

Sure, I might just go see it. We rarely go out to see a movie, so when we do, it's nice if it's a good one!!
