POLL: If AG goes down, where will the community migrate

Imagine, hard as it may seem, for a moment that the $hite has hit the fan and AG goes the way of Napster. What yould you do then to get your, err, evaluation copies of music?

The network is not Gnucleus but Gnutella, Gnucleus is one of the client, - anyways, that's where most people will probably be going. It's evolving faster than any other network at the moment. It's amazing if you imagine what gnutella was half a year ago and what it is now. Fasttrack remained more or less the same, eDonkey has only been seeing small improvements, Direct Connect is as shitty as it ever was and WinMX users just haven't noticed yet that napster died quite a while ago.

    all of the above

I marched from napster to AG. Got upset with the spyware carp and moved on. Since hooking on to ZP I have used a ton of different programs. No longer will I just use one program. The answer is all of the above.
By the way zo5+3rop5 please post your cool electronic list on the favorite band thread in mp3's section. I will be in touch.

    Thumbs up Blubster!

I'm switching to Blubster. Because after Napster closed down I wanted something that looked just like the old napster, will all the features, chat rooms, buddy list, ignore list, broiwse files, ect. and now with Blubster 2.0 coming out with all these features, I'm going with Blubster. It's easy, fast and free!

Talking For MP3s it will be Blubster

Since AudioGalaxy specialized in MP3s I think most of those files will go to Blubster. They have already doubled their user base in the last couple of weeks..

Well I think most will move to Blubster. I won't be moving because i'm already there. I never used AG(don't really have a reason why). But people should also try File Spree. Its like Blubster but you can share ANY file not just MP3.

    Arrow

My guess would be WinMX. Usually people who come from networks that do not need a lot of bandwith don't like Gnutella.

When I search a song, none appear in the window... though it says it scan X-amount of songs in the lower left hand corner.

    Blubster

I think its pretty obvious where most of the ag users went. Before ag went down blubster had 5000 some users on, but now they have sometimes 10000 or more

Edonkey's programmers are working on a new P2P program that will be called "overnet", watch it out!! I hope it will be easy to download MP3's from this one. :sw
