What do the rules say about selling/buying invites?
Is anyone interested in selling me something? (Not Demonoid or TL).
buying/selling/trading invites is usually a big no no on most private sites. Go read through some FAQ or Rules pages on any site, and you will find that answer.
Not only is it not allowed, but staff tend to find out very quickly, since scum that do such things usually don't stop at selling one invite. It would be pretty much throwing money out the window. I know of someone that tried that and he didn't even become a member before getting banned forever from the site.
While trading is so common that some get away with it, it is also frowned upon by most of the BitTorrent community. It makes sites more unsafe than if people only invited people the knew or trusted. Once money and people that wouldn't otherwise be there get involved it isn't as safe anymore.
The best thing for any newcomer to do is get familiar with the community and start making friends. Get to know people and let them see you can be trusted. Once people know that it's easy to get invited without any money or trading of other sites involved.

there's no need to buy invites, be patient and you will eventually get onto all the sites
deffinetely a no no for me and shouldnt be encourage howether bad you want the tracker i used to see them being sold on ebay how sad is that
Its not allowed, even though I want an invite to DEMONOID!
Not necessarily. If a person joins a P2P community as such, to be a part of, rather than going around, posting in various threads statements like

People that join, then immediately start spamming threads, tacking what site they are looking to get invited to, either to the end of every sentence, or in their sigs, well this is usually indicative that they have no interest in being a part of the community as a whole. These members hardly, if ever, will be invited.
Probably 65% (VERY conservative estimate) of these go on to sell their invites for the "high level" tracker, are found out, then get not only themselves banned (probably from all other sites they are a member of, as well) and take the poor inviter down with them.
It makes no sense to invite these members.

I'm all for internet communities, and I don't spam the forums. I've always wanted to join Demonoid since I got into P2P, and I hope the people who are selling are caught.
dont sell SHARE
DONT LET THE BITORRENT SCENE TURN INTO :icon_scra A PLACE OF GREED TRADING
I've always like the word share. Anyone care to SHARE an invite to Demonoid?
What do you mean exactly? And if your talking about an invite, I'd like one please.
