    Client Based Anonymity

I'm sure I'm not the first person who's thought of this, but why hasn't anyone come up with a client based solution to anonymous file sharing?

A private tracker could only accept traffic from one client- and that client could be set up so that IP addresses wouldn't be visible. If someone tried to connect from another client, access would be denied. The client would encrypt the address so it wouldn't show up on the peer list.

What do you think? Am I missing something here? It obviously wouldn't guarantee anonymity/could be hacked but it might provide a little protection, at least for a little while. One step ahead, so to speak.
