Has anyone either received or personally known someone who's received an infringement letter for something DLed through a private tracker? If so, which tracker was it?
No rumours please, I'm looking for cold hard facts. And no need to included Demonoid. It's common knowledge that Demonoid is closely watched.
I'm asking for two reasons. 1. I want to know which trackers to avoid :) 2. I want a better perspective of private tracker privacy in general. My assumption is that, up until now, private trackers were generally safe from prying eyes, and, for the time being, they are probably still fairly safe. This could (and probably will) change at any moment.
Oh, come one, no one here knows anyone who's used a private tracker and gotten a letter? Nobody? Zilch? Nada?
