Post MPAA Nabs 5 for 'Transformer' CAMs

Theater employees and PATRONS team up to help bust pirates across the country.

In an odd twist of 4th of July unity, movie theater employees and patrons across the country teamed up last week to bust 4 more individuals for trying to make camcorder copies of "Transformers."

Even though the movie sucked in my opinion, (C'mon now, Optimus Prime saying "Oh, my Bad?"), the effort to get it out to the masses via "alternative distribution methods" continued unabated, and theater security teams and civilian collaborators were able to catch a few of them.

The suspense was so intense I just had to click the link.

And it lead me to a Soul story already posted here. WOW.

Movie sucked huh? Bummer. All that money Bay wasted. What a schmuck he is, right?

Serves the villians right. I wouldn't want to see a crappier copy of a movie that "sucks."

You guys have no taste in cheese. The movie didn't suck. Didn't you ever watch Transformers as a kid?

Sure the movie was cheesy, sure the characters were based on toys, sure the story was based on a 1984 cartoon and sure there were no big star actors or even a hint of character development.

Despite these obvious handicaps the movie was fun to watch, almost like I was 10 years old again and whoever that girl is she is the Goddess of all Goddesses.

I've been working in a movie theatre the past 4 months or so, and I believe we've only had one incident with a camera. That incident involved some 13 or 14 year olds that thought it would be "cool" to tape a movie and then show it to their friends later... I guess they thought it was equiv. to drinking a beer or something, who knows. I believe all my manager did was take the camera and refuse to give it back.
My current setup stats (like anyone cares...):

    ASUS A8N32-SLI Motherboard
    AMD 4400+ Dual-Core CPU
    Windows Vista (Ultimate 32bit)
2 GB (2x1GB) Corsair XMS RAM
2x250 GB (in RAID 0) HDDs
EVGA GeForce 7950 GTX 512 MB
    Creative X-FI Fatal1ty XtremeGamer

    Also sporting a black MacBook
    Revision/Release 1
    Upgraded to 2GB RAM.
