You should know that Longhorn has been discontinued. . . MS chose to pursue another XP server platform called "Blackcomb" instead. But, feel free to play with the alpha. :tilted

Sorry. . . guess I wasn't clear enough. MS has downgraded Longhorn from a server+desktop OS into a strictly desktop OS, so when I said that it was discontinued I meant only the server side of things. Also, Blackcomb is the current name for the next Windows server-specific OS system.

Frankly, they both worry the hell out of me, since they are based on the new Palladium system architecture, which could put a serious hurt on p2p.

you can also do a simple search for "longhorn" (without quotes) at www.xbetas.com

they have an extensive information area under the search for longhorn

here is an faq for palladium, it provides all the answers i think you could ever want on the topic

screw that... theres no way peeps will agree to this f***ed up idea.(pallidum of whatever) its basiclly turning your pc into a counsole in a sense, as it will only run 'signed' programs, or verified stuff. if this is actually implimented, i see a HUGE shift to linux in the near future. G** D*** microsoft.... argh
