Found this news about Longhorn at this warez site.

I know there was a thread about the leaked pictures, but now the whole OS is leaked, I was wondering if anyone's heard about it and where I can get more info.

Maybe even the OS!

from what i heard, this will not be leaked, every beta copy has the MS employes name coded into the software, so if a version got leaked, that person would get fired

thats what i heard a few weeks ago anyway

But then again, that "guy" was able to uncode his name from the OS?!

btw, in that other longhorn forum, there was a link to some beta tester web site, i dont remember it offhand, but they had an extensive section on longhorn, try finding that, maybe they have updated it

This one?.......I was posting there, after I made this thread. I think it was made the same time I made this one.

Very helpful thread, but I don't think I will even try looking for Longhorn on IRC. I don't like running beta's or alpha's cause there are a lot of glitches. But it's good to know about it.

BUT, if I did get it it be good to brag about, hehehehehe

ive been using my beta copy of XP Pro for about...i think over a year (I had it 6 months before it came out in stores, so whenever that was)

all i did was windows update and it works great, i even hacked my reg code so that i could do SP1

thats not the thread i was talking about, if i find the one i saw (it might have been on a different site thinking about it now) i will let you know

well, i found the site that leaked the beta, they used to have a bunch of info and screenshots of it, all i can find now is screenshots though

try www.xbetas.com for other beta leaked info and programs, they use IRC to distribute and have some really cool shit, overall its a nice site
