EDGE, a UK Gaming magazine, has released a list of the Top 100 Games of All Time. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time tops the list. Naturally, some people have had some disagreements...

Outside of the top 10 EDGE's list is pretty terrible and it seems most of the people who've commented on it agree with me. Too many useless top 100 lists nowadays, especially when they're so bad they're irrelevant like this one.
WTF is that person bitching about on that second article. there were *two* mario games on the top 10, 3 if you want to count spot 11. i dont know about you, but a lot of the time, a sequel will be better than the first incarnation. super mario world was a much better game than SMB. you could go between levels as you choose, find secret exits, WALK BACKWARDS.... did he forget that you couldnt walk backwards in SMB?
k, i know his point was it was the most revolutionary game for the time, but that wasnt what the list was about.
so what would be *your* #1 everyone? zelda? or something else?
The only problem I have with the list is halo as I find the game to be decent at best compared to the numerous FPS out along side of it. But then again I seem to be in the minority with this stance as most people seem to drool over it. To me half life, unreal tournament, far cry, doom, duke nukem 3d and time splitters were all better then halo.
Anyone upset or offended by my post please follow the link and let your opinions be known.

my #1 would be Quake 3 mainly because of the amount of good other games it produced off of its engine.
59. StarFox 64 DO A BARREL ROOLLLL!!!
one of the comments on the site about the list is that right now, a lot of those games are really popular, so they got unfairly high scores. its the old ones you have to pay heed to. those ones were good enough to be remembered even as the systems they ran on arent in use by most people today. i think they need to make it a requirement that in order for the game to be in a list of "best of all time," it has to be out for a certain amount of time first. 3 years i think is a good number. how many of those games on that list have been out for less than that? too many IMO.
oh. my best game of all time is morrowind. buggy as all hell, but im pretty certain that i will be playing that game 'till the day i die. if that doesnt say best game ever, than i dont know what does.
best game of all time was 10six.com , 2bad sega sold it long ago
i think, duke nukem was the best game
I think the list is actually pretty good... I have similar tastes to the review crew, and the top ten list actually is close to what I would have chosen.
I give this list a thumbs up!
"There's a passage I got memorized. Ezekiel 25:17... I been sayin' that shit for years. And if you ever heard it, it meant your ass. I never really questioned what it meant. I thought it was just a cold-blooded thing to say to a motherfucker before you popped a cap in his ass. But I saw some shit this mornin' made me think twice… The truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm tryin', Ringo. I'm tryin' real hard to be a shepherd."
Grim Fandango is the best game ever! Download the soundtrack, it's the best mingling-music ever at a party
Top 3 in my list would be
1. Doom
2. Need for Speed
3. GTA
There was some terrible games on this list. Killer 7?? top 100??? wtf were they thinking?????
