I have downloaded a few movies as of late and want to make sure I am seeding the right files. When seeding files which files do i need to keep winrar or avi? Do i keep them in the same directory after i have downloaded them?:icon_salu
You should keep on seeding the files you have downloaded. Whether it's in rar or avi, whatever you got from downloading, that's what you should continue to seed. Ideally, they should be kept in the same directory, otherwise it would be considered not downloaded yet. Technically, it should be in the same directory specified in your torrent program. So even if you changed the location of the file (for some reason or another), and you specify the tracker that the file is in this location (assume you changed it from C:\ to D:\), then it will continue seeding.
Yeah, in your case I'm assuming you mean that you downloaded a file like boom.r01 going upto r60 and then extracted it for the avi. You have to upload exactly what you downloaded, ie, the rar files.
So I don't have to keep the avi file in the same directory right
No you don't. Once you've extracted it, you can move it wherever you like. Just leave the rar files where they are and it will continue seeding.
why do my torrent files keep changing in the type,1st it would say azureus torrent now it says shareaza file How do I make azureus my default file type?
right click on torrent -> open with -> Azureus.
Or even, you can right click, hit the button that reads "Change..." next to the 'Opens with' line, and find Azureus on the list. It should associate all files like that to Azureus.
