    I'm lost...

Hey, i hope im posting in the right section, but i need some direction. I just downloaded a game off bitcomet and the files i downloaded were about 4.4gigs in size and put into 6 folders (CD1-CD6, all these files are Bin, and Cue) aswell as one extra folder called CD6 Fix. So i used Deamon tools to mount the first disc which started the intallation, so i mounted all the way to CD6 and the installation was complete. I started to play the game and it keeps crashing never allowing me to go very far in the game. so im guessing i missed a step. I'm not sure what to do with the CD6 Fix folder but the files in it are rzr-fmoc.001 and rzr-fmoc.sfv i have no idea what to do with them.

    Any ideas?

    thanks

You can use WinRAR or free 7-Zip to extract those files, SFV file is just to check your achieve files are complete. After you extract those files, then you can mount CD6 Fix to correct your problem!

The CD6 Fix folder is probally the crack, usually in the form of a .exe file, which you put in your install directory. Or if it is an image, like the user above said, extract, it and mount.

    Hello!

Ive got the same problem dude, and the way to fix it.

I extracted both files with rar, then started the small .exe program.

In the program u need to select an .iso file where u apply the small patch
And the other to select the .ppf file(thats the patch file).

I selected the first (CD1) .iso file, and the .ppf file i extracted and it worked.
Still not working when i mount the CD1 and tries to play, theres no autorun on the first cd, only install, gona try CD6.

If any1 knows how to apply the patch to the gamefolder! Please help me and others! :D

    Comming back for more info.

Ok, tried after aplying the patch on .iso CD6 to reinstall the game with (hope) the new patched CD6. But when i started the game again, it crashed at the same spot. So now im clueless how to fix the problem =)

Did the torrent came with an INF file for instructions? Open the INF file with Notepad to read the instructions.

Usually, a patch is to to be use on the game's EXE file. After the EXE file been patched, you use the patched EXE file to run the game.

I've never seen a PPF file before as I don't play a lot of games, but you should run a anti-virus check on anything you downloaded. Specially, I don't trust it when it came from someone I don't know & without the INF file, as respected release groups usually will create an INF file for each of their releases!

I don't think the problem is with the torrent but the files that you have in CD6 Fix you probably need to copy them instead of the same files in the original CD6, backup your original 001 and sfv and copy those in there.
