    NTFS and FAT file system

    Guyz tell me exacltly what are NTFS and FAT file system in windows ??
    Whatz the difference between the two and which 1 is better ??

    If you are not using any other OS (Dual boot) then go with NTFS. It is more stable and more secure.

    The only reason I can think of to use FAT is if you are running a dual boot with windows and linux. Somehow, your post makes me think you aren't a dual boot kinda guy.

    Wow, thanks I never realized file systems could be so interesting.

    Sarcasm aside, it's good to see you again. By the way nice link. I actually remember about the second half of that list. Which means I didn't laid much when I was younger. To be honest things haven't changed much since then.

    and i m using win xp and win 98:icon_prof
