KG account disabled

I signed up for a KG account this morning and when I went to login today it says my account has been disabled. I have no idea why as I couldn't have done anything to get banned. Any ideas???

yeh same here dude my one got banned a couple of mins ago i did not download anything and was jus registed for like 6hours or so...

this is crazy..haha

i tried finding info to contact a mod or admin but got nothing guess it was never meant to be :(

Yeah... followed the link to the forum and got crap. Guess we'll just have to search for invites.

This may explain. Someone is stealing accounts, so guess many new members suffer the consequences even if they are innocent. Or you got invites of stolen accounts.

Apparently some of our users have been victims of account thieves. Somehow the thieves have figured out the passwords of certain users and changed the passwords and email addresses of the account. Best way to protect yourself from this happening to you is to make sure you have a strong password and to not use the same password at KG as you use on other sites.

or you signed up through a link intended for a specific group of people, and you weren't one of them.
They ask where you got the link from when you sign up, and if you don't answer that right, ie some one told you about the link but not where it came from, they might disable the account.

I registered yesterday ... one account/same IP ... and now -->

Login failed!
This account has been disabled

Yeah same thing happened to me. I signed up when they were open for registrations yesterday. Now it says my account is disabled. I was really excited about having an account there.

It is amazing. Many people have reported that their accounts have been disabled. Try to talk to them on their IRC channel:

irc://irc.brokensphere.net/KaraGarga

Its surprising because I had registered an account for a friend yesterday using that link and that account is still active.
