I disagree... I didn't like the movie in the least. Besides the HUGE drift away from the comic book that it was based on, I thought the special effects on Venom were awful. He looked like a cartoon that shouldn't have been there. It also jumped around too much. I know that I am biased on the fact that I'm a comic nerd and Spider-man is my all time favorite hero, but it's like they didn't even try to stay true to the comic this time. I mean, Gwen... why was she there? Why was she a model? They could have made that character Felicia (Black Cat) and she could have served the same purpose but actually of made sense. Why was Harry's Green Goblin a surfer dude? All my other complaints would be spoilers to the end of the movie, so I'll leave them out... but ARGH!!!!

Aww man. I just finished watching my downloaded version of the movie, and let me just say, IT FREAKING SUCKED!!! I don't know where that 500 million dollars went because there were 100 times more crazy action scenes in spider man 2. What a total dissapointment.

Spiderman 3 was just simply awful. I was cringing at the shitty dialog and shoddy script from beginning to end. Tobey Maguire was painfully bad in this movie (and I liked him in the first and second). I hope he liked his big paycheck, because he won't get many good movie parts after this.

I want my $9.00 back.

I think the movie was pretty much awesome...Spiderman 2 was definitely better though. Anyone know if there will be another one?

and where is all money went i dont see anything in the movie deserve this cost
i like Spidy he is my superhero but 500 million $ thats sucks

I agree with you fero. There is nothing in spider man 3 that requires 500 million dollars to produce.

Well, I've been told that the Sandman might have eaten up a large bit of that money. Someone I know is really into all that digital animation stuff and she said the animating the sand grains or something was really difficult, or something. She couldn't understand why they put so much work into him and then next to nothing into Venom.
